Our Story
Forbidden Cities is a start-up independent production company based in Kent, UK, founded in 2024 by Fernando González Mitjáns and Daniella Rice.

We craft documentaries, television, and digital productions that bridge languages and continents, with a particular focus on stories (and voices) in Latin America.

Together, our previous credits include documentary films and series for international broadcasters and streaming platforms, such as BBC, Netflix, Disney+, HBOMax.

We’re developing a slate of exciting new projects, driven by our passion for powerful, human storytelling - from the UK to the world.
